A devoted student of American History, Jamee grew up in a Northern Indiana family that welcomed everyone to their table. Her parents taught by example: Party lines meant little compared with character, community service, faith, and charity.
Jamee believes our federal government must refocus on the basic needs of all Americans, instead of seeking to control Democratic-led cities. She condemns using ICE to deport undocumented immigrants who hold jobs and pay taxes. She objects to spending $1.71 billion on deportations when millions of Americans are losing Medicaid and struggling with rising costs of food, fuel and housing.
As a member of Congress, Jamee will safeguard democracy and cooperate with fellow lawmakers to restore unity and hope for everyone.

Hard-working Hoosiers are being squeezed by rising prices on groceries, housing, and utility bills, while Washington prioritizes wasteful spending, corporate special interests, and tax loopholes to benefit themselves and the ultra-wealthy.
Jamee Decio is fighting for practical economic relief by curbing corporate price gouging, opposing Trump’s reckless tariffs, protecting middle-class taxpayers, and ensuring that Hoosier tax dollars are invested directly back into Northern Indiana businesses and families instead of outside interests.
AI DATA CENTERS: PROTECTING HOOSIER WALLETS, LAND & LOCAL CONTROL
As massive AI data centers move into Northern Indiana, Jamee Decio is fighting to make sure Hoosier families don’t foot the bill. She’ll fight to stop data centers from driving up utility costs, demand real transparency and community input before new projects break ground, keep zoning decisions in local hands — not Washington’s or Big Tech’s — and make sure communities share in the profits when a data center moves in, not just the bill. That fight extends to protecting Indiana’s prime farmland, water resources, power grid, and standing up for the local jobs and family farms that built this region.
As a proud union member, Jamee will fight to ensure any data center built in the 2nd District uses union labor, and she’ll always put Hoosier workers and communities ahead of corporate developers — defending domestic manufacturing and opposing reckless trade policies that hurt local industry along the way.
PRACTICAL HEALTHCARE REFORM
No family or senior should be forced to choose between paying for essential care and keeping food on the table. Jamee Decio will fight to protect Medicaid and Social Security for Hoosier families and seniors who depend on them, and oppose any attempt to cut coverage to fund tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy. She also believes every Hoosier deserves guaranteed access to affordable healthcare — without having to give up the private insurance you have if you want to keep it. A thriving Indiana requires a system that protects working families and seniors while empowering local employers and small businesses to compete for top talent.
